About Rotary

Rotary is an international service organisation whose purpose is to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill in the community. Rotary is inclusive, gender-neutral, non-political and non-religious.

Rotary was founded around 120 years ago and is now a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world.

There are 93 Rotary and Rotaract Clubs in WA and over 2,200 members. Each club is autonomous - a group of like-minded, collegiate, and mutually supportive people, delivering local and international community service in the context of a friendly club environment and supported by the framework of an international organisation.
