Give A Feed was founded in 2011 by Wayne Smith and Aaron Pitt to help WA families in need enjoy Christmas. Partnering with Foodbank WA and Rotary WA, we help families feel the Christmas spirit.
It’s more than a hamper. It’s connection and a conversation that tells a family doing it tough: you’re not alone.
More than a hamper
A Give A Feed hamper is a box of Christmas: the ham, the pudding, the custard, the treats and the staples that carry a family through. It gives hampers and hope.
Every dollar goes to Foodbank WA, which provides 9.2 million meals a year across Western Australia. Foodbank WA bulk purchases the products, volunteers pack them into Give A Feed hamper boxes, and Foodbank WA distributes them through its Charity Network, including women’s refuges and Child Protection, with 200 hampers for First Nations communities. Foodbank WA issues every donor a tax deductible receipt.
